Monica Santos is a housekeeper to ultra high net worth clients. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and Portuguese and is a qualified interpreter specialising in health.
While raising her two sons, Monica worked in various fields ranging from academia to retail and along the way she acquired many valuable skills including excellent team-working and interpersonal skills, business management and administration, marketing, event management and product development.
Monica has always kept abreast with the necessary qualifications required for her industry and, as a result, holds qualifications in a wide range of areas including Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, First Aid, Data Protection, Handling Information and GDPR, Child Protection, Understanding Infections and the Importance of Hand Hygiene and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults. Coupling these qualifications with her organisational and communication skills enabled Monica to pursue a career in housekeeping.
Not only did she manage to find fulfillment in her job as a well rounded housekeeper but she also developed a method which maximised her productivity and exceeded her client’s expectations.
The Housekeeping Academy is Monica’s training programme that teaches the methodology of home organisation. It inspires housekeepers to aim high and shift their mind set in order to manage a home successfully while enjoying it!
